A dark amber beer with a thick off white head. In aroma, nutty malt with bits of lactic points, grainy and herbal. In mouth, a nutty malt with an oily mouthfeel, light roasted nots, lactic points, not bad. Tasted Jan 1 2011.

Bomber - fairly clear amber beer - aroma has an initial oxidized/cellared character, some caramel, doughy yeast, some raisin, light spiciness - fairly full-bodied and flavored for the abv - has a bit of nuttiness - fairly bready throughout - lightly spicy - fairly strong, spicy hops, but tempered by a moderate caramel sweetness and some notes of date and raisin - a bit of diacetyl, but just a touch, and it kind of works with the breadiness - the hops are a bit overly bitter in the finish, and never completely come together with the malt, but this is decent.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Buy Rite - Jersey City, 11/18/10
Aroma: Light, somewhat sweet nose, with some earthy notes, caramel malts, and a some wood
Appearance: Pours a clear caramel-amber color with a decent sized beige head and lots of lace
Flavor: The flavor is malty, somewhat dull, light sweetness, minimal bitterness present here
Palate: The body is fairly light, it drinks pretty easily, and the carbonation is average to soft
Overall Impression: I wasn't overly impressed with this one. The quality of the product is pretty decent, but its just a little bit on the boring side. That's really all I there is to say about this one. There isn't much to praise or much to criticize, just a decent, but fairly boring brew.

Bomber pours crystal clear copper with tan head. The meek aroma is spicy and earthy when I’m able to detect it with very little else going on. The taste begins with fresh spicy hops rimmed with bitter citrus and then rolling toward grainy malts, biscuit malts and then a mild level of fruity esters.

not sure what i expected from this one, but it wasnt this. sort of a hoppy lager. dark amber color, not too much aroma, reminded me of a sam adams boston lager upon first sip. nothing really special or distinctive about it, not bad though just sort of middle of the road. enjoyed it but probably wont remember it.

From Butters @ 12th Richmond Gathering: Chestnut and roasted barley malt nose. Clear dark amber, medium head, some lacing. Roasted barley flavor. Not a lot of character, but tasty enough.
