Botle 75 cl. Courtesy of bu11zeye. Pours a dark brown - close to black - with a vague tint of orange and a beige head. Tart aroma, some dark fruits and loads of Brett and wood. Medium body only, dry dark fruits with a little roast, tart woody notes, raisins and loads of lacto too. Somewhat astringent. A very sophisticated blend. 180311

Pours black into a snifter. Mocha head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Sour dark fruit and oak aromas. Dark rum upfront turning to sour pit fruit and oak before the lasting chocolate covered cranberry finish. Similar to a Belgian stout.

Wash. DC tasting. side by side with Cisco Cherry Woods. pours dark brown, tna head. aroma, malty, coffee roast, dark fruits with mild barrel leaving a very mild brett/sourness. flavors, barrel is more pronounced adding the oak to a malty/roasty profile. Light fruit tartness and a touch of warming abv. Finish is wodnerful, plenty of wood/oak, sourness, light vinegar perfectly blended with a more pronounced malt that puts this one on a different spectrum when compared to the Cherry Woods.
