Bottle at Chriso tasting, thanks to Leighton, 10/07/14. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a good sized tan head that dissipates and retains. Nose is tangy dark fruits, herbal, light mint leaf, red berry tang, sprucey wood, heavy floral tones. Taste comprises tangy dark fruit, light acidity, herbal tones, damp wood, light medicinal vibes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a tarte rinse. Solid if unspectacular sour.

Forgetfu Tasting at ChrisOs. Thanks to Leighton. Hazy deep amber - brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and a little crispy and semi dry. Whisper of cherry amid the dark fruits and mild dark malts. Cherries turn a little bitter. Light bitterish finish. Decent.

Bottle shared in London - picked up in MA. Pours rich brown with a creamy, khaki head. Dynamic dark, ripe berries in the nose, some subtle burnt herbs, slight toffee, plums. Medium sweet flavor with lots of wet wood, old berries, some leathery fruits, slight menthol, earth. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Mellow old, tart berries to finish, more wood, bitter worn leather, ripe berries, dirt, plums, dried cranberries. Pretty decent.

750mL bottle, sent from Glouglouburp (thanks a lot, Dany), pours a deep dark amber-tinged brown / near-black with a small beige head. Aroma of dry red wine notes, some tart berries, wood tannins, and some prominent fruity notes from the berries. Flavour is very dry and woody, with medium tartness, cranberries, wood, cola and a little vanilla. Very dry and woody body, with moderate fruitiness and tartness. Medium complexity and drinkability. Good stuff.

750 ml Bottle thanks to JohnGalt1 for sharing. Pours out a cloudy brown topped with a cream tan head. Aroma of was oak, Brett, vanilla, grape, berries, sweetness, and tart. Taste had lot of complexity going on the entire aroma but much more in-depth. With a good berry tart and light pit fruit sweetness.
