"Balance" is the key description for this smooth and refreshing
Southwestern-style Blonde Ale. Nimbus Dirty Güera is brewed with the finest
domestic pale malts and world-class Cara-Pils and Munich malts. Our use of
select Perle and German Hallertau hops lends to the beer’s pleasant floral
nose: low in fruitiness and mild in ester production. This combination
produces a light, clean and crisp balance between malts and hops. Our
Blonde’s subtle sweet undertones are derived from pure mesquite-flavored
"killer-bee" honey that is harvested from hives in Bisbee, Arizona.

Draft sample at the brewpub. Nice blonde ale, a bit peppery, a bit lemony, malt profile like a lager. Drinkable.

bottle, pours light gold with a medium white head. Aroma is lightly hoppy with some citrus notes. Sweet light malt and a peach and lemon peel finish balance each other well. Hop bitterness is low. This is highly drinkable and I like the low ABV.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet matly and fruity, and so is the flavor - quite plain. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of FlacoAlto. Slightly hazy golden with a small, rough, white head. Odd unclean aroma of tart fruit and coffee (!). Light in body, unclean fruit accents. No real bitterness. An odd one indeed. 160408

12 fl oz bottle. Pours slight hazy yellow to orange with a fully diminished white head. Light spiced aroma with a mild soapy note. Flavour is dry malty, a bit flat. Ends flat and light spiced.

Aroma is slightly sweet and slightly spicy. Could be some citrus and honey. Hazy gold color with tatters of white head and lace. Medium body with creamy/fizzy carbonation. The flavor is a bit salty - at least it seems so to me. There is some floral and, perhaps, grassy hop. Honey does seem to be present, and there is some malt. It seems something like a Belgian - those can get pretty weird. The finish is fairly dry and a little bitter. I really like this stuff.

Bottle from Park Lane Liquor in Lancaster, CA. The beer is a mostly clear orange-gold color with a medium thin and fluffy bone white head that dissipates steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Light floral hops and earthy malt in the nose. Light-bodied with a clean mouthfeel. Light hops, yeast and malt flavors. The finish is mildly spiced with a short and hoppy aftertaste. Overall the beer is a little below average, it simply doesn’t pack much punch.

Bottle from trade with cbkschubert! Nose of hops, citrus malt, and a little tartness; Gold with a tiny off-white head; flavor contrasts a little tartness, with some spicy hops, and a little citrus.
