Light amber in color, this medium-bodied ale is highly hopped in both aroma and bitterness, with the maltiness still quite apparent.

Well... what I had is a bottle marketed as \"Schlafly IPA\" in 2021. It is labeled as 5% abv with 35 IBU. It pours a light gold/straw color with a bit of haze and aromas of lemon, floral hops, and a bit of an herbal presence. Flavor is not too exciting. Light and lemony with a bit of an off flavor at first that seems to clear as it airs a bit. Tastes a bit like a slightly malty lemon drop.

Bottle. Iodine, grass aroma. Cloudy orange, light lace. Light sour, salty, herbal/grassy, not particulary hoppy. Chewy, sparkly. Resin grass stickiness in the back of the throat.

Bottle. Deep golden hue, fluffy white head, great lacing. Aroma of black pepper and anise. Taste is balanced bitterness and caramel, light background spice. Nice.

Bottle. Copper color. Amber malt, yeasty aroma with hops. Nice malt flavor with lots of fruit. Amber roasting, a bit of citrus, rather sweet and earthy. Slightly like a biere de garde. The hops come on later. Dry, hoppy, long finish. Pretty good, but not pale at all, but very much like an Amber.

Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a pale yellow-orange color with a medium thin off-white head that diminishes steadily. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of sweet malt and lightly floral hops. Medium-bodied with a borderlne cloying sweetness. Lots of malt and caramel flavor with a lesser degree of citrus hops to balance. The finish remains sweet and malty with a grainy aftertaste. Overall this beer is average at best, and didn’t really work for me.

Courtesy of Degarth. Pours a hazy golden orange with off white head. The aroma seems funky on the surface. Its earthy, sugary, a tad malty along with mild floral hops. The taste is sweet with malts and then grainy and pale malts. The hops are spice and floral and really aren’t taking center stage. Sort of an English style IPA.

Pour is a copper with a small white head. Aroma is of hops but not very strong. Flavor is hoppy with toned down malts. Drinkable and very middle of the road.
