Crisp golden coloured body with a thin white head that fades fast. Aroma ofmetal, alcohol, a hint of light fruits and some definite vomit. Light-bodied; Sharp pungent malt flavour with a lot of light fruits, some metal and a hint of sweetness, but a mildish flavour mostly of malt. Aftertaste shows some nicer malt, a little earthy flavour, some light sugars and not much else. Overall, a fairly mild blonde with more malty tastes than I’d expect and a decidedly lager-like flavour. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in McLean, Virginia on 07-February-2013 sampled at home in Washington on 16-February-2013.

Skunk, honey, and mulberry aroma. Clear amber, thin head. Grainy, stale honeycomb cereal, corn flavor. This isn’t a favorite style, but I think this is below average for a golden ale.

On sampler tray at BWI. Yellow color, thin white head, great lacing. Aroma of malt and white pepper. Taste had a slight hint of bitterness and very thin body. Not much to this one.

Location: Draft at the Fells Point Brew Pub, 9/6/09

Aroma: Lightly fruity and yeasty/grain nose
Appearance: Clear golden beer, small head
Flavor: Light grain and malt flavor, bit of fruit
Palate: Light in body, pretty thin and mild
Overall Impression: Not a bad beer, just not a ton of character. A decent enough blonde, I guess, just not totally exciting.
