Sample from a bottle at the Day Before Labor Day party. Pours a mostly clear deep orange-amber color with a thick and foamy white head that dissipates slowly. Sticky rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with a citrusy hops character and notes of sweet caramel malt and fruit. The finish is hoppy with a lingering fruit aftertaste. Decent overall.

750ml bottle pours a transparent, reddish amber with a frothy white head. Sugary, malty aroma. Flavor is sweet, caramel, oranges. Finish is medium bodied.

Bottle at DC local tasting. Reddish color, medium white head. Aroma is very redish as well, if that makes any sense. Not sure. It was a long night, but that’s what my notes say. Taste is very malty, with some summer fruits. Pretty average.

Bottle thanks to Americanbrew. Pours with an amber body and a large white head. Aroma of alcohol and citrus. Flavor is the same, hoppy, caramel, alcohol, citrus. Creamy carbonation.
