Outstanding aroma of citrus and boat loads of grapefruit I love it. The flavor though is crazy sweet, it’s like an orange/lemon lillopop. Big sweet malt swetness and it really drowns the hops. The aroma is fantastic but it falls apart after that.

Bright clear amber beer, decent cream colour head. Palate is light, slightly dry and decent carbonation. Malts are sweet, some thin malt cream. Mild hop spice and pine. Smooth orange, floral orange and light orange peel. Light spicy finish. Some alcohol showing through but no heat. Drinkable but could do with more hop intensity.

Flarra. Doftar milt av hav å lite trä. Omedelbart i munnen medelfyllig viss sötma. Sötman smakar Titti frutti. Hallonbåtar . Sen kommer jaaa klassiska Dipa smaker . God frisk Dipa . Dock något söt å tuttifruttig för att få topp betyg.

Où, Quand, Comment : Dégustée en fût au Saint-Bock à Montréal et titrant 8% abv (printemps 2007).
Visuel : Couleur : ambrée. Apparence : claire.
Arôme : Houblon fruité (agrumes, abricots), citrique et aux notes résineuses, caramel doux.
Goût : Entrée de bouche : Amer de houblon fruité (abricots, pêches, agrumes), citrique, légèrement résineux et herbeux, présent toute la gorgée. Un support malté de caramel doux sucré est également présent avec quelques notes poivrées.
En bouche : Corps : moyen. Effervescence : moyenne. Texture : légèrement crémeuse et aux petites notes résineuses. Finale : longue et un peu sèche, amère de houblon citrique aux notes fruitées, résineuses et herbeuses.

Rendons à César ce que lui revient... Le houblon Amarillo en mono-houblonnage n’est vraiment pas pour moi mais cette bière-ci était plutôt bonne. Elle a du corps pour le style et l’alcool se fait peu discret. Je m’attendais quand même à un peu plus fruité au goût... La mousse est super fine et le houblon est très bien intégré.

Bouteille 500ml. Couleur cuivrée translucide, mousse beige pâle meringuée laissant une dentelle éparse. Arôme d’agrumes, végétal, malt, alcool. Goût de malt très présent, végétal, amertume moyenne-élevée, touche d’agrumes, alcool en fin de bouche. Carbonatation faible, corps moyen. Pas une mauvaise bière en soi, mais ce n’est pas ce que je recherche dans une IPA/DIPA...

An orange amber IPA with a thick lacing off white head. In aroma, pinhey hops with loads of berry notes, light caramel malt, nice. In mouth, a smooth DIPA with fruity and grapefruity esters, a bit of a thin body, but overall quite nice.

500mL bottle sent from Glouglouburp, pours a cloudy golden orange with a white head. Very fruity nose with peach, orange, mango and citrus, with hops of course. Flavour is what you'd expect - a mix of the above-mentioned fruits, quite a sweet caramel character and citrusy hops. Slightly spicy finish. Great IIPA.

Courtesy of after4ever. Thanks Tom. Pours clear copper with loose white head. The aroma is mild with sweet citrus candy and some modest spiciness. The taste is similar with pretty thick mildly aged malts blending into a pleasing citrus hop flavor of orange juice mixed with grapefruit juice and a touch of pine and spicy hop bitterness. Tasty stuff.
