On tap at Craft Room Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, medium sized creamy beige head, chocolate, peanuts and whiff of hazelnut in the nose. Light roasted malt, peanut, coffee, toffee and light chocolate with dryish coffee finish. Nice one.

Tap at Craft Room. Almost pitch black, creamy tan head, quick to go. Excellent aroma... Chocolate with peanuts, just maybe a sprinkle of coffee. Peanuts and coffee, mildly chocolatey. Soft but ends dry, too mild and dry to be absolutely fantastic. And it's damn close. Excellent beer!

Coffee porter by Hoppin’ Frog, thanks to Johan for sharing the can. Thin and loose, yellowish beige head, very unstable and reduced to an interrupted ring of small bubbles in instants, on a black beer with hazy burgundy hue. Aroma of coffee cream, toffee candy (‘Chocotoff’), mocha ice cream, hard caramel candy, candied dates, muesli, pecan nuts. Sweet onset, raisins and dried fig notes, caramelly and chocolatey maltiness with soft carb and a soft sourish undertone, velvety body but a tad thinnish nonetheless, hazelnut paste-like aspect at the back with indeed a mild bittering toastiness and subtle coffee aromas but not too overpowering; ends bittersweetish with a lingering spicy hop kick. Decent, easygoing and accessible example of a coffee porter, bit unremarkable within its specific style but tasty for sure.

Nice light brown slightly fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry roasted, roasted peanuts, toast, chocolate, dark malts, rye bread, dark sugar, hay, minerals, bark, vanilla. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, weeds, hay, minerals, toast, roasted peanuts, bark, cocoa, grass, dark malts. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and harsh sour-ish roasted mouthfeel. Nice aroma...

Tap @Taphouse. Black, creamy beige head. Aroma has malt, caramel and peanuts. Sweetish flavour, roasted hazelnuts, roasted malt, choc and vanilla. A little too light to support all these flavours.

Can. Pours a blackish brown with a thin tan head and aromas of peanut, chocolate, charcoal and cream. Flavor is that... with a bit more of a charcoal and burnt malt edge than the draft version that inspired me to take a few cans home from the brewery a while back. It's lovely and the subtle peanut butter hiding in the background but never quite taking the main stage is scratching an itch right now. Bravo!
