A golden ale with a thin creamy off white head. A pleasant British hops aroma with nice caramel notes and a bit of butterscotch. In mouth, a nice light English ale with restrained hops, a bit of citrus notes. On cask at C’est What, March 21, 2009.

Pale amber coloured. Medium bodied, bitter. If you're not giving it too much thought this is a really good bitter, but as a beer geek I find something is missing.

Has a flowery, curranty hoppiness and toasty caramel notes. However, it is very thin for a beer of 6%. This allows it to be quaffed of course, but leaves a bit of an empty feeling when you realize that Wellington Arkell on the next handpump over has a much fuller body and flavour at 4%. That said, the thinness allows the beer to seem fairly hoppy even though the IBUs really aren't that high at all (maybe 22-26).
