Bottle. Aroma of pale malt and noble hop. Brassy gold color with a frothy white head. Medium bodied. Creamy carbonation. It’s a well balanced pale malt sweetness with grassy, spicy hop. The finish is more than dry, and the final impact is bitter. It’s nearly astringently bitter. Crisp and clean it is. I’d say this one has been slightly underrated*, but I have not had so many of the competitors. Quelle dommage. *But look how my numbers turned out!

Bottle. Poured vary pale with thin white head. Malty pilsenery aroma. Clean refeshing hoppy tate with a light body. Clean finish. This is a worthy example of a German pils and is best on a hot day.

First ratingDraught at Linnéterassen in Gothenburg. Clear light golden color, small non-lasting white head. Served very cold. Very sour and malty scent. High CO2 level gives a spritzy mouthfeel. Not much taste, might be due to the cold. Medium high bitterness.4/2/5/3/10=2.4Second rating(Draught at Spatenhaus in München)Shady pale golden color, flussy white head. Sweet malty scent. Spicy herbal hoppy taste. Medium mouthfeel and bitterness. Bitter aftertaste.6/4/6/3/13=3.2

Very pale gold with a thin white head and lots of bubbles. Mildly hoppy aroma with a dry light hop taste and the afore=mentioned bubbles that tingle your tongue and a very little bit of bitterness in the aftertaste.

Pale golden. Dryish, bitter and clean. Does not match the better German pilseners in crispness and intensity.
