Bottle. This is the best tasting Lithuanian beer I have had to date. That’s not saying much though. This had a much better taste than the others. Smelled like the others though except the smell of alcohol is more prominent. Appearance is the same. Overall I would recommend it once.

Pint + bottle from some rinky dink store in Silver Spring. Pours golden with a dusting of a white head. Aroma is cheap caramel candy, that's it. Flavor is that same cheap caramel candy, some green grass, some green leaf, and more caramel. I'm going to drink it because I'm tired and don't feel like going to the store, but I'm not gonna like it. Pretty unpleasant flavor overall.

Bottle: Pours cloudy, yellow gold with a very thin white head. Orange malt and butterscotch aroma and flavour.... Fruity, syrupy sweet with a pronounced, alcohol bitter. I’m surprised it’s not considered a malt liquor.........

Deep Amber Color, Small Head, Leaves Almost No Lacing. Sweet Malt Aroma. Sweet, caramel, malt, boozy. Was better than expected or I’ve remembered. Labels have a few things that are lost in translation. I would guess those labels were translated back in early 90’s, when good translators were scars and have not been updated or fixed. Everyone catches on "stout" part. It is a far cry from Stout indeed. Second, in English it says Thunder beer, while in reality it has a lightning bolt, which is the correct name. That is the my joke, that one bottle is enough, it hits you like lightning and you pass out...Actually it was not that bad but I would not have more than one...

Half liter bottle pours out nearly clear copper – gold with thin off white head. The aroma offers up sickly sweet sugary malts, a sweet mead like quality and a cheap maple syrup covered apple and pear slices like sensation. The taste isn’t insanely sweet like I was expecting. I get sugary sweetness, a pleasing and trying to be dry yeastiness that cuts the sweetness and very slightly nutty like maltiness. To midway it picks up a firm note of peach slices buried under a mountain of bleached white cane sugar. OK, this does end up overly sweet and by half a pint it overcame me and I had to pour the rest down the drain and then hydrate to stave off the adjunct inducing headache that was heading my way.

Clear amber with rapidly disappearing white head. Aroma of alcohol and some spice. Very malty flavor, not well balanced. Mediocre.

Bottle from T’s in Tempe, AZ. Label said 9%. Light amber color with a frothy beige head. Sweet caramel aroma. Medium body with frothy carbonation. The flavor is roasted caramel - suggestive of cola. There’s heat. The finish approaches astringent. Interesting, but not my choice in any situations I can envision.

500ml bottle. I’ve had this one in the refrigerator for weeks, dreading it. The color is cloudy orange. The aroma wasn’t so bad. The taste is a tad overly sweet, almost a little fruity flavor, and the alcohol’s presence hides right behind it.. Not quite a drain pour, but always threatening. Better than US Macro Malt Liquor and some of the worst of the worst Russian/Ukranian trash out there. Almost like a bad Belgian beer...so not that bad.

Let’s visit Lithuania! Has a big red tag on the neck that brags about the alky content. Has a big fib on the label that says ’extra stout’. This made me think it was going to be some kind of dark beer, I was fooled. When popped, smells yeasty like any other decent beer. Big 16.9 oz bottle. Sparkles allot when poured. First taste is simply offensive, the aroma gives you no inkling of what lurks within. Strong volatile unrefined malt liqour, must be Litho’s idea of cheap american malt liquor. Looks like any other ubiquitous pale yellow american lager. Tatse is quite rude and crude thru the session. Each sip left me wincing. Finish is whiskey laced beer. Will not buy again, satisfied my curiosity with a punch in the face. Leaves a burning sensation in my tummy. Reminds me of my teenage pal’s montra when buying malt liqour ’want to get drunk fast?’

Bottle. Pours an orange color with lots of fizzy bubbles that don’t leave a head or lacing after the die back. Aromas are sweet (apple juice/hard cider) with some fruit (pears, among others.) Flavor is extremely sweet and there is no effort to conceal the 9+% ABV. I think that if you mixed pear juice and acetone it would taste about like this.
