Draft @ McCarthys Pub, NYC. Clear amber with a small white head. Aroma of caramel and traces of lemons. Taste of caramel, lemons and malt lozenges. Low bitterness. Medium carbonation. Drinkable for sure but I didn’t fancy a second one and went for a Sam Adams instead.

A: clear amber, thin, off-white head.
A: oxidized apple, old peanut, cellar, dust, caramel.
T: sweetish apple, plum, biscuit, yeast, some iron.
F: soft herbal hops, oxidized dried fruit, biscuit.
P: medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation.
Watery, but not too shabby and superior to the corn-fueled Premium Lagers.

Gylden brun med hvitt skum. Lukter kjeller, karamell og noe trevirke. Lett. Maltig. Smaker mørk sirup, mineralsk og noe papp. Kort.

Gyllen brun med offwhite skum. Lukter jord, kjeller og karamellmalt. Søtlig maltsmak. Smaker en blanding av kiellerbier og red ale.

Pours a clear light amber with a one finger white head. Grainy malt aroma. Flavor is of grainy, caramel malt and mild hops. Pretty well balanced. Not bad.

Canned in East Austin dive bar. Malty, bland, some caramel notes, stinks a bit, barely drinkable, had some trouble finishing it.
