Clear golden coloured body with a very thin white head. Aroma of pale malt, rice, a touch of light metal and bitter assertive medicinal quality and very little else. Light-bodied; Pungent, strong metallic flavour at first gives way to a malty taste with a bit of rice and a little sweetness coming through the slightest hint of citrus. Aftertaste is fairly bland and watery with not much going on at all. Overall, a fairly standard beer over here with some subdued flavours, but some rather potent metallic and bitter flavours to finish it off. I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased in Shanghai, PRC in March 2005 (Restaurant) and August 2007 (Convenience Store).

Can. Pale straw, scant white head. Flavorless. Unremarkable. Slight bitter finish. Forget it.

Can. A light golden beer with a white head. Both the aroma and flavor are skunky from the brewing cereal - is it rice, but also with a malt accent. The brewing cereal giving it a light body. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

(Can 35 cl) Courtesy of Kim N. Clear pale golden with a white head. Aroma of brewing cereal - plenty of rice that is! Thin-bodied with a huge carbonation and some sweet notes of brewing cereal. Dry finish. An easy and quenching drink. 030608
