Keg at the Bottle Shop - London. Pours mostly clear amber with a creamy, yellowy head. The nose holds creamy toffee, toasty bread, dates. Medium sweet flavour with gooey malts, light grape, faint smoke, ripe berries, brown bread. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, bready, with more toffee, ripe dark berries. Solid dubbel.

On tap at The Bottle Shop Bermondsey. Dark brown russet colour lasting tan head. Malty sweetish aroma some Belgian esters. Tasty dubbel. Good malts bread brown malt. Some dark fruits.

Tap @ Beer Temple (Amsterdam, that is). Nice, clear. deep red color. Dense light beige head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma’s: a bit smoky, red fruit, caramel. Retronasal it’s moderate sweet, malty, light smoke. Flavor is light sweet, grainish almost, light roast. Medium bodied. Light bitter finish.
