Bottle. Pours pitch black with a small brown-ish head. Aromas of sweet malts, sweet rum, chocolate, subtle roast, booze. Taste is very sweet, dark fruits, sweet malts, that euro bready bitter roast, huge spice-like rum flavour, vanilla, boozy and sweet finish.

A black beer, a head is small and brown. Aroma has liquorice, salt liquorice, dried fruitness of raisin. Taste has liquorice, raisin, other dried fruits, wooden barrel, some bitterness. Full bodied. The barrel is quite strong but it fitts nicely to overal habitus. Not so good as the normal Hypnopompa.

33 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 2.11.2018 Aroma has alcohol, licorice and mild liquor tones. Flavour has non-disturbing alcohol, licorice, mild chocolate tones, hints of ash and liquor. I expected oversweetness but got a well balanced slow sipper.

On tap at Mikkeller Warsaw. Nose: charming aroma of vanilla, rhum, the barrel provided contribution goes well with the massive vanilla amount. Some chocolate too, pinch of olive. Mouth: a bit of this olive mouthfeel ruins (sadly) the overall which anyway stays on a level which meets expectations. Sweet rhum mouthfeel with a clean roast note. Pretty clean, chili mild finish.
