Black colored, thick, almost no dark tan head. Aroma is of roasted malt, rich with dark chocolate and coffee, brown sugar, some rum, bit wood, dark fruits, light alcohol. Taste is medium+ sweet, malt and some brown sugar, loads of dark chocolate and coffee, dark fruits, bit rum and some barrel, light alcohol in the finish, nice warmth, medium roasty choco bitterness. Full bodied, soft to flat carbonation, creamy. Excellent! (bottle)

Pours pitch black with no head. Aroma is rich and boozy, complex. Raisins, dark fruit/berries, rum. Big body. Flavour is smooth and very well rounded. Rich and malty, the dark malts are lovely. Quite high complexity, with notes of blueberries, earthy and herbal hops, chocolate. Really lovely. Finishes bittersweet with blueberries and rum. Rum gives everything a nice fruity touch.

Semmi hab, vöröses derengésű fekete szín. Kávés, vaníliás, csokis, kakaós illat, rumos, hordós felhangokkal. Édes, kávés, csokis, kakaós, aszalt gyümölcsös alapok, komoly vaníliás, rumos aromákkal, valamint némi hordós beütéssel. Testes, enyhén szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Nagyon finom sör, kiváló arányokkal.

Flaska från Kihoskh. Tack Vignale. Kolsvart utan skum. Rom och choklad präglar både doft och smak. Inte jättekomplex och väl söt men maffigt med mörkt socker, fat, rom, söta russin och mycket mörk söt kladdig choklad. Gott

Opaque black - brown beer, good tan head. Smooth airy palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft dark malts, trace of licorice. Whisper.of wood. Super smooth rum and very well integrated. A little woody bitterness and spice on the finish which also brings dark malt cream. Yeah - smooth, rich but so quaffable.

Bottle at the Star and Garter, Bromley. Black pour with a light tan head. Tobacco, blackcurrant jam and liquorice toffee aroma. Flavours of coffee, molasses, blackcurrant jam, more liquorice. Exceedingly rich, warming and tasty.

Flaske fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø Langnes. Drukket på Bergstua. Svart. Lavt mokkafarget skum - framprovisert ved kjempehøy kvelling. Aroma av rom & kokos. Oljeaktig munnfølelse. Smaken som aromaen. Utmerket - men mangler variasjon.
