Bottle. Light caramel, not much else. Little bit sweet, touch of malt. Bit fizzy, and not offensive, but not really very interesting. Light spice, but not much there really. Aroma very weak. Right at the end, light chocolate.

Bottle from the Oike Yamaya. A crystal clear amber brown with a light filmy beige head. The nose is too yeasty & fruity some hints of DMS? Very malty grainy sweet flavor with a bit of a sort of off-centered quality to it. Ok but it could be better. Compared to the Double yeast this is great...

50 cl bottle, bought @ Gotemba railway station. Clear, amber to brown color. Small beige head. Aroma’s: vegetables, bready malts, roasted grain, with some caramel and red fruit retronasal. Flavor is lightly sweet. Light bodied. Grain & malt in the finish. Pretty authentic, but not too exciting.

Bottle from Yamaya in Kanazawa. Light brown-amber color with orange and a low, quickly disappearing head. Fruity, vinous aroma with caramel and some roast. Light caramel flavor. Slightly roasting, fruity and a bit tart. Not at all dunkel-like. Has a decent dry finish, though. Too watery and thin. Their worst beer by far.

Clear brown with a pillowy, beige head. Sweet caramel malt, toasted, bread, and light yeast spices. Flavor starts off rather spicy with the caramel malt showing through as well. Light toasted malts are there as well. A decent dunkel.
