(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, orange to copper colour with a short and off-white frothy head. Yeasty, slightly syrupy bubblegum aroma with notes of banana and a sour-fruity touch, as well as hints of phenolic spices. Moderately sweet and slightly sour flavour, full bodied with a mild carbonation. Fruity malty and slightly wheaty taste with notes of apricot, banana, caramel and a tinge of clovy spice; moderately sweet and slightly sour-fruity finish with a well-masked alcoholic strength. Rather an extra strong Weizen Bock than a Barley Wine. 17.IV.17

Mild with a nice and round and refreshing yeatsy aroma. Lots of smooth banana clove yeast, mild, grainy, round and smooth. Not too deep or characterful, round and refreshing, mild with a yeasty smooth mild aftertaste. No bitterness, easy to drink, fresh with only depth from the yeast.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle. Slightly hazy, golden amber with a white head. Sweetish-malty, minimally fruity aroma of caramel, honey and tea leaves. Rather sweet, malty and a bit fruity taste of caramel, honey, clove and hints of oak, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, quite dry finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Disappointing.
