On tap @ Beer Temple (from notes): Color is ruby red to brown. Beige head, not much. Aroma’s of sweet red fruit (notably strawberry, also some raspberry). Flavor is sweet with like strawberries with chocolate, syruppy. Finishes with a firm bitterness and some spices.

On tap at Bier Temple, Amsterdam. Opaque very dark brown beer, big vibrant tan head. Lacto malt nose. Light palate, smooth and slightly soft. Mild minerals. Lots of sweetish malt with a trace of burned toffee and a sprinkling of nuts. More milky sweet rich malt leads to a smooth finish. We joined up and tasty.

On tap at Beer Temple as Old Ale. Almost black, beige head. Aroma is sweet, spicy, very sweet chocolate, laurel. Flavour is very sweet, chocolate, liquorice, spices, laurel, roasted malts. Medium to fullbodied. Somewhere between a doppelbock and baltic porter imo. A bit too sweet, but tasty.
