Was für ein Geschütz. Schaum wie Ei-Schnee, in der Nase melassig. Geschmacklich gleichzeitig viel Süsse und ungemein bitter, dazu der Alk-Hammer. Davon reicht eines definitiv.

Bottle at home. Incredible head at the beginning, dark copper colour. Aroma is very grainy, with underlying earthy and piney hops. Big body. Flavour is rather sweet, with a boozy malty basis. Lots of caramel and some biscuit notes. Quite bitter, with a very bitter finish. Again rather earthy, with pine but not much fruit. I really like the finish which blends sweet caramel with intense bitterness. A good triple IPA, style-wise maybe a bit peculiar, as it almost shifts into a barley wine on some aspects. Bitterness and pine from the hops is excellent though. Nice.
