Bottle from Victoria Station M&S. Drank straight from the bottle like a winner. I imagine this one would be clear gold with a decent white head. The nose is full of zesty citrus, grapefruit, sweet lemon sherbet and doughy malts. The taste is crisp, clean, crisp bitterness, grapefruit, lemon pith, zesty, gooseberry, pepper, touch of grass, resin, piney varnish and mild alcohol with dry finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Crisp and chuggable. Very good train beer.

Bottle from Marks and Spencer, Enniskillen [300415]
Light golden, crystal clear, frothy fluffy white head
Aroma of sweet grapefruit zest, grapefruit juice, dab of gooseberry, light sweet pale fruits
Taste of grapefruit, soft grapefruit bitter zest, soft pale light sweet malts, quite juicy, not complex thought, always like this hop
Palate - Soft carb, medium light body, bit oily. Finish of bitter citrus zest, finish a little gooey, but clean enough
Overall - Milder than the usual Oakham Citra, but it’s one of the best beers M&S do

500ml bottle from M&S. This is well worth a drink. Not tried it along side Oakham Citra or Citra special, so not sure how similar it is. Colour is golden with lacy white head. Aroma and taste have a big punch of grapefruit but this is well balanced. Well worth a try
