750ml bottle pours out black topped with a tan head. My least favorite of the 5 BA Dark Lords we opened. Nose is tart cherries chocolate rich malts and bourbon barrel. Taste is more of the cherries mixing with the chocolate big roast and barrel.

Bomber at share. yet another Three Floyds monster to celebrate my retirement. Black pour, adequate beige head. Aroma is dark malts, grapes and cherries. taste featrurs mild sour cherreis, more of the wine barrel and the sweet roasty malts. Another ABV monster.

Tap @ Mikkeller Bar. Pours pitch black, greasy. Aroma is sugary, chocolate, sweet cherries, tartness, vanilla, fruity. Taste is very sweet, fudgy, toasty, light tartness, sweet fruits, butterscotch, boozy. Dark Lord has to come up with some good shit to impress me these days...

A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light vanilla and licorice, very, light peated notes notes, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with light peated notes, light vanilla and coffee notes, vanilla extract, alcohol warmth, very nice. On tap at Dark Lord Day 2018.

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar, Viktoriagade 8BC, kld., DK-1655 Copenhagen, Denmark. [ As Three Floyds Dark Lord Ronaldo (B.A. Madeira w/ tart Michigan cherries) ].Unclear dark black color with a small, virtually none appearance, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, cherry, alcohol, moderate wood - cherry stone. Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate, cherry, madeira, alcohol. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20160511]

[5/11/16] Draught at Mikkeller Bar in Copenhagen. Black with a bit of brown foam. Huge aroma of chocolate, fudge, wood, vanilla, some soy sauce, port, some cherries. Very sweet flavor, dessert-like, slightly sourish, somewhat boozy, with chocolate, wine, oak, cherries. Full-bodied, thick, velvety, viscous. Wonderful, especially when it warms up.
