Aroma is some sour cherry fruits, hints of funk, some cough sweets, dark roasty malts in the mix as well. Flavour is composed of sour cherry, musty funk, acid, quite puckering,. Palate is tart puckering, acid, fullish body. Quite an interesting unique beer.

Borefts VI. Day 2. Keg. Almost opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is airy and semi dry, good fine carbonation. Mild dark malts entertain mildly savoury brett and lightly sour red fruits. Light finish. Does what it says on the tin, not bad at all.

Keg at Borefts ’14, 27/09/14. Black with a decent tan covering that clears to the edge. Nose carries sweetish notes, caramel sauce, bretty dose, dark malts, liqourice, blackcurrant jam. Taste comprises red berry fruits, nice bretty dose, lactic rinse, spice, dark malts, light cocoa, soured berry compote. Medium + body, fine carbonation, tangy berry fruit rinse in the close. Decent brett impy, well rounded, carries the ABV well.

Draft @ Borefts 2014. Body of the beer was a stout I think, but the sour cherries kind of took over the beer. Taste has a little soft note of roasted malt, but the intense bretty sourness of the cherry takes over fast. Unbalanced beer and a bit too sour to be enjoyable.
