Bottled@AIH40 (from biernavigator). Hazy ambery orange colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is ginger, some bready malts, and mild toffee. Flavour is ginger, some toffee, bread and mild earthy and yeasty notes. Not all too "straight on" ginger, rather there has been a nice attempt to let this one have balance.

Pours a slightly hazy(ish) dark orange, topped with a fine white head. Malty aroma, slightly fruity as well as some ginger notes. The taste is mild, slightly sweet with spicy finish - ginger notes. Surprisingly nice and easily drinkable.

Sample from 33 cl. bottle. Clear, amber-golden colour with a thin, off-white head. Fruity aroma with ginger, fruits and caramel malts. Herbal and spiced notes. Taste is lightly bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and a lively - bordering aggressive carbonation. Finishes dry and spiced with ginger. Too much spiced ginger in this one for me.

Bottle from Biernavigatie, dated 29/01/14, large sample, served in an Oersoep tulip. Hazy amber color, short frothy head. Aroma of ginger, which makes it a bit spicy as well, some piney hop, bit citrus, slight caramelly malt. In taste some sweetness, caramel and toffee, ginger, some bitterness. Ginger is quite present, but the toffee and caramel backs it up nicely, as well as the soft bitterness. Bit low on carbonation (which I dont mind actually), medium bodied. Actually quite ok.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of ginger and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of ginger and straw, leading to a dry gingery finish.

Bottle@Papsoes - golden amber pour with thin white head. Aroma and taste is herbal and floral, prominent ginger, herbal hoppy bite in the finish. Not for me.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Thick, rich and authentic ginger aroma. Medium body, a little heavy in the carbonation, no malt to speak of but just loads of fresh ginger - no bite though. Ends dry and slightly hoppy. Very refreshing. 130914
