Ein untergäriges, kastanienrotbraunes, besonders cremig-samtiges Bier. Vollmundig und zartherb, mit dem Geschmack reifer Edelkastanien. Eine dezente Röstnote bei gleichzeitig nussig-kräftigem Körper rundet die Bierspezialität ab. Edition Maroni entfaltet sich am besten in einem Rotweinglas.

Dark amber with little white head with some yeast blocks. Aroma is maroni, caramel, some other nuts. Taste is very sour, not as sweet as predicted by the aroma. Somewhat aggressive carbonation. Overall quite good.

Bottle. Brown-orange color with tan head. Aroma is maroni, chocolate, nuts. Taste is maroni and chocolate, some other nuts. Interesting.

Bottle, 330 ml at Fassldippler. Shared with JFK10000. Pours deep orange to brown, off-white head. Malty, some chestnut. Sweetish. Light to medium bodied. Expected something more interesting.

Bottle. Darb amber, low off-white head. Roast, sweet caramel aroma. Medium body, mellow chewy mouthfeel, strawberry, honey roast, dry finish, herbal aftertaste.

0,1l from tap at Craft Bier Fest Wien, shared by me. copper quite hazy color, small off-white head. smells yeasty, milky, spices, a bit buttery. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes malty sweet, light fruity, plums, light nuts and marzipan. finishes with marzipan and notes of plums. decent stuff, liked the taste quite better than the smell. overall decent, not too special though.

Draught at CBF Wien.
Deep copper, moderately hazy body, with a medium, fluffy, yellowish head.
Aroma of nuts, chestnut, caramel, berries, bread, roast.
Taste follows this pretty much.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes bready, roasty, medium dry, nutty, a bit fruity.

Nice one. Nothing special overall, but well balanced, with the chestnuts well integrated.

Bottle @ home thanks to Sebilinz. Amber color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, sweetish, grainy. Decent body and carbonation. Not bad.

Ein Spezialbier, das ich im Herbst 2014 getrunken habe Es hat mir wirklich gut geschmeckt. Es hatte einen schön nussigen Geschmack und einen Touch gekochte Maroni. Dadurch wurde es wunderbar aromatisch, ohne aber übertrieben zu wirken und trotzdem einen guten Geschmack nach dem Namensgeber zu haben. Dieser Spagat ist gelungen und ich würde mich freuen, es wieder einmal zu bekommen.

Orangebraunes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch fruchtig malzig, Citrus. Geschmack süßmalzig, trocken fruchtig.
