Pale brown colour. It has a light but distinctively bittersweet flavour. Clean aftertaste. A good session beer.

Clear brown color, short off-white head. Very weak altbier. Nothing special.

2013-10-03, draught at Im Goldenen Ring, Düsseldorf, 6-5-7-3-14=35
Bright dark amber/brown color. A lot of caramel, and very breadish example. Dry.
2007-04-02, draught at Düsseldorf Airport, 5-4-6-3-12=30
Beautiful dark amber color. It’s too cold of course. It has a simple aroma and a quite good caramel flavor, also quite dry mouthfeel, but unluckily a bit metallic too.

Bottled. Amberish brown colour with small off-white head. Aroma is malts, earth and hops with some metallic and plastic hints. Flavour is malts, slight fruits and fresh wood. Aftertaste and finish are quite bitterish, but still balanced up with caramel. A quite pleasant altbier.

Bottled. Clear, sparkling, reddish-brown beer with an off-white head. So far, so good, but the rest isn’t. Malt, grain and hay in the aroma, and the flavor the same, except there is some hops too. Thin body, and a real disappointment. Rating: 2-4-3-2-7-1.8. 060616
Can, at RBNAG -09. A clear, dark golden beer with an off-white head of moderate size. Bready, worty caramel nose with some meaty notes. Not much impact from the hops here. Bready flavor, dry, yet sweetish, finishing bready and dry. Medium body. A decent one, goes down easy, but is a bit one-dimensional. 091107

Bottle: Amber coloured with reddish tints, medium sized, quite stable fluffy off-white head; fruity-malty-caramelly nose with a tinge of molasses; mild sweetish-malty flavour with an illusion of roasted malt; slightly sweet-malty finish with a moderate bitter aftertaste: Drinkable, but pretty bland and boring, in comparison to the Düsseldorf micros.......
