Bottle at Winterbierfestival 2015, Gouda: Brown/reddish colored brew with an sweet bitter taste. Nice cognac flavors and the nice hidden but traceable whiskey too. Very nice one from the North of the Netherlands.

Geprobeerd met Roelzie1986. Het is een oranje bruinig bier met een dun schuim. Het heeft een houtige whisky achtige geur. De smaak is vol vanille, hout, drop en whisky. Erg goed.

Bottle, thanks ShivanDragon! Brown color. Malt, caramel, cognac and even whisky notes in the aroma. Vanilla. Malty sweet plummy flavor with vanilla and notes of cognac. Carbonation is soft. Pleasant but sticky, rather alcoholic beer.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Wijn&Verwonderen, Culemborg. Clear dark brownw ith a very thin off-white head. Cognac aroma with some whisky notes. Sweet taste with some oak notes as well. Sweet cognac almost a Beerenburg finish. Strange but really satisfying at the same time.

Bottle from ShivanDragon. Many thanks! Murky amber/brown colour, beige foam, disappears very quickly. Nose of bourbon, vanilla, red fruit, cognac, caramel. Taste is sweet vanilla with fruity vinous notes. Light bitterness. Very nice actually!

330 ml. bottle. Very mild gushing. Very neat label. BBF 12-2019. Pours dark brown, big tanned fading bubbles. Nose is faintly metallic, massive candy sweet, sugar, dates in the best fashion, vanilla oak, Coca-Cola sweet, sugar, more candy,… This is wonderful if you have a sweet tooth. Taste is brief cough syrup upfront followed by the massive candy, sugar, dates, Coca-Cola sweetness which I adore,… Taste is a bit thinned, touch metallic & fizzy,… Which also counts for the body. It is a bit too metallic & thin to reach greatness but the candy & Coca-Cola notes with some sugar & oak are might fine but it might use more thickness & touch less odd flavors. Still very lovey. Good but just a wee bit metallic & thin (those qualities creep up a bit over time). If you love sugar, oak & Coca-Cola this is just great.

Bottle. Lots and lots of diacetyl, tonnes of butter, also wax, heavy alcoholic warmt. Lots of dried fruits. Hard to drink, mouth puckering. Not very good.
