Ons tarwebier (witbier) of zoals de Duitsers zeggen ‘ein hefe weißen’ is een zeer zacht fruitig bier. Kruidige geuren maar ook een zachte toon van banaan en kruidnagel is herkenbaar in dit type bier. De gist die wij hierin gebruiken is erg belangrijk voor de smaak van onze weizen.
Our wheat beer, or as the Germans would say, “ein Hefeweizen” is a very lightly fruity beer. Spices in the nose but also a soft note of banana and cloves are key characteristics in this style of beer. The type of yeast we use is also essential to our weizen’s particular flavour.

Frothy white head stayed on a hazy, highly effervescent, straw coloured body. Minimal aroma of spice, yeast & banana. Medium bodied, very tingly over the tongue with a clean finish & dry back. Taste is similar to the aroma with banana, spices, yeast, citrus & grape.

Definitely the worst beer these guys make, it's lacking any type of typical great wheat beet flavours and aromas. De prael Amsterdam

On tap at De Prael. Hazy golden/yellow with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, wheat and light banana. The same in the taste, also some yeast. The body was medium. Quite refreshing.

Draft - Light dirty banana and citrus. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Dirty banana esters and a touch of orange.
