Can from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is huge Grand Marnier orange liquor, candied orange, dark chocolate, liquorice, Pim’s, some vanilla, more Grand Marnier, touch of coffee, and noticeable alcohol. Flavour is quite sweet with some booze. Body is full. I can see why this is highly regarded, but while this is definitely tasty, the Grand Marnier completely dominates the aroma with its sweet candied liquor booze. A bit too much in one direction for it to be a complete success to me.

Tap @ CBC 2015. Pours pitch black with a medium mocha head. Aromas of orange, dark chocolate, light roast, orange liquor. Taste is roasty, orange liquor, fresh orange, fudge, malt, dark fruits. Like dark chocolate with orange. Soooo easy to drink.

Can. Black. Roast, orange and grand marnier in the aroma. Hints of smoke and licorice. Grand marnier dominating the flavor. Malty sweet, laurel, licorice, orange. Out of balance, but interesting.

330ml Can - Black with a tan head. Rich aroma with chocolate, raisins, orange and vanilla in the aroma. Smooth taste, not as rich as the aroma suggests, with chocolate, orange, vanilla and some slightly soapy notes.

Draft. A black beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, and oranges. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, oranges, chocolate, and caramel, leading to a dry roasted finish.

330ml can. Pours jet black with a thick tan head. Aroma: strong boozy orange and chocolate liqueur like notes. Taste: sweet chocolate orange is really prominent, very boozy and very much like a liqueur, slight woody barrel notes, but quite astringent. Body is full, carbonation soft, lovely smooth mouthfeel. The flavours are there and are nice, but the alcohol is too prominent to properly enjoy this one.

Increiblemente licorosa. Fantantica. Para repetir sin duda.
