Hazy brown with a beige head. Caramel aroma with some light roasted malts. Nice roasted mouthfeel and a lot of taste for such a modest ABV. Very solid dark brown.

0.33 l bottle from De Bierkoning, bottled in april 2015. Clear, deep red with a medium large, frothy, stable, tan head. Shy, sweetish-malty aroma of redcurrant, raisins, nuts and chocolate. Sweetish, fruity-malty taste of redcurrant, raisins, nuts and cocoa powder, followed by a short, slightly bitter finish. Thin to medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not very intense but all in all pleasant. Some nice fruity notes stand out, accompanied by a chocolaty touch. Could have used a little more hops.
