Rijke Herfstbok is een traditioneel ondergistend gebrouwen seizoensbier met een aangename, zacht zoete smaak. Bij het proeven gaat alle aandacht uit naar het aroma van karamel en de subtiele tonen van kaneel, rozijnen en bosbessen. Robijnrood van kleur met een mokkakleurige schuimkraag.

Nice dark red / dark amber color. Medium sweet smell and taste. Low carbo and body.

Süßer, ZU süßer Antrunk mit lascher Herbe und wenig Getreidigkeit. Eine Bitternote plaziert sich sehr zaghaft im Hintergrund und schafft es bis zum Ende nicht, sich in das Geschehen einzuschalten, dabei wäre das nötig. Auch die Malzigkeit, eigentlich genügend vorhanden, wird von der Süße deutlich übergangen. Zu süß!! 12/6/6/5/9/5

bottle from Bierkoning - bedankt! Deep brown colour, large beige head.- Malty nose. Ful-bodie,d sweet malty base with lots of caramel, hints of chocolate and raisins. Rather sweet/malty, like a Bohemian tmavé.

Clear mahogany with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and rye bread. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, caramel and rye bread. Finished sweet.

Dark brown with reddish tints and fast disappearing head. Rich, thick, and sweet. Very malty with lots of caramel and chocolate. A bit too much--rather unbalanced sweetness.

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Can looks simple but good. Beer in the glass amber coloured, nice head. Roasty malty aroma. Starts sweetish-malty, notes of some cookies, brown sugar, some herbs, syrup. Spicy-sweetish-malty finish. Okay.

Bottle 30cl. @ [ Back2Bock Tasting ].Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, molasses, caramel, cabbage water notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20081115]
