Grand Cru is a speciality beer carefully crafted. This extra-blond amber nectar masterpiece undergoes refermentation in the bottle, resulting in a beer endowed with unforgettable character. The secret lies in the unique combination of the most noble hops and the finest aromatic ingredients. Grand Cru differs from other beers in the range by its absence of spices. Its full, white head is light and frothy, and when poured it creates a subtle lace effect. The very pale colour of Grand Cru lends clarity and brilliance to its body. Grand Cru’s delicate nose is a veritable cascade of hoppy aromas with hints of fruitiness coupled with subtlety and sheer richness. When savoured, the first sip is light and intriguing. The next impression is one of a slight bitterness full of captivating nuances. When it hits the palate, Grand Cru creates a lingering moment of hoppiness, rounded off by an intense yet pleasant bitterness.

Clear gold with small white head. Aroma of straw, yeast, light caramel, faint alcohol, dry-hopped dustiness. Its quite boozy and doesn't hide its strength. Light citric, pear, sweet malts, very leafy with some yeasty funk. Near champagne level carbonation and lightness. I like it but I'm not wowed.

0.33 l bottle from 'AH XL' (Roermond), best before May 2026. Minimally hazy, golden yellow with a medium large, slightly fluffy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently yeasty-spicy, quite fruity-floral and a bit grassy aroma of lemon peel, fresh grass, gooseberry, banana, some clove and a touch of honey. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, rather yeasty-spicy, quite fruity-floral and gently grassy taste of banana, vanilla, honey, gooseberry, white grapes, lemon peel, fresh grass and clove, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, slightly dry and a bit boozy finish. Medium body, fairly effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Very well-balanced Belgian ale with lots of flavour and a crisp and dry finish. Good stuff!

Large white foamy head stayed on a hazy vivid pale golden coloured body. Citrus, yeast & fresh aroma. Medium, foamy & dry. Stone fruit, citrus, boiled sweets, yeast & chalky tastes with a tangy finish. Very pleasant.
