Bottle. Clear golden body with a light haze and a white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of straw, salted bread and dried orange peel. Flavour of gently warming spice, green banana and dried grass. Medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Very fizzy. A classy, peppery beer.

Golden, cleae with a medium frothy white head. Aroma of hops, fruits and some hay sense. Medium bitter, light sweet with a good fruity and some citrus ending. Good carbonation, nice!

Gold with a foamy white head that fades away. Aroma of bubblegum, pears, yeasty white bread. Taste is mildly sweet with a warming and boozy finish that goes a touch metallic. Medium to full bodied, moderate carbonation. Good.

Bottle from Belgiuminabox. Pours a hazy light golden colour with a huge throthy pure white head. Aromas of ripe stoney fruits, apricot, banana, peaches, floral, candy, spice, pepper, pine, yeast and a hint of bread. Taste has all the notes in the aroma with more of the fruity, floral and peppery notes. Slightly hoppy bitterness. Fairly lively carbonation on the palate. Light to medium bodied with a long fruity, spicy, peppery, hoppy and dry finish. Well balanced. Excellent beer!

Gekocht bij Dranken Maes te Dendermonde op 9/03/2019. En thuis geproefd op 26-05-2019. St.Feuillien Grand Cru is een helder en goudkleurig biertje, bij het uitschenken maakt het veel wit schuim aan in een rotsachtige vorm en het blijft sterk aan de glaswand kleven. Je ziet veel CO2 pareling met belletjes van een gemiddelde grootte. Na een tijdje is het schuim ingezakt tot een dunner fijn laagje.
HET AROMA:
Is kandij-zoet, wat citrus, biscuit en graanmout, ook iets wortigs en een kruidige bloemige toets.
DE SMAAK:
Is fruitig-zoet, wat gistbitterig, biscuit en graanmout en een lichte alcoholtoets.
HET MONDGEVOEL:
St.Feuillien Grand Cru geeft een volle body en een normale koolzuurgas-prikkeling. Een harmonieus biertje zonder meer.
DE NASMAAK:
Vloeit wat uit, is fruitig zoet met weer wat gistbitterheid, een pepertoets en een lichte alcoholtoets.
VERDICT:
Deze St.Feuillien Grand Cru is gemaakt met wijngist en inderdaad hij is licht sprankelend, met een licht bittertje en wat zoete alcohol is dit een goed biertje zonder verrassingen.
