Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 08/05/21. Black with a tan head that quickly escapes to nyadda. Nose is dark malts, dried fruit esters, hint of soy sauce, chocolate, dark malts, earthy tones. Taste comprises dark malts, dried fruits, cocoa powder, light roast, umami, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Easy drinking straight up old skool impy stout with just a suggestion of its 8% ness.

0,33l bottle at home bought a couple weeks ago from Ex-De Molen webshop. Bottled 15.10.2015. BB 15.10.2017 (so a bit oldish unfortunatly). black color, small coffee-colored head. smells of coffee, bitter chocolate, earthy, licorice, milk chocolate, lactic creamy, lightly sour, overall very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, of licorice, coffee, bitter chocolate, hints of sourness, spices, creamy, light bitter hervs, light vanilla, nutty. finishes lightly sour and roasty with earthy notes, spices and light vanilla. quite good stuff, lovely balance. a light sourness seems to be creeping in (unless its intended), but it was almost not noticeable. overall very nice beer.
