Das Bayerisch Nizza Wheat Pale Ale ist ein helles, leichtes und obergäriges, auf Weizenmalzbasis und nach Reinheitsgebot gebrautes Bier, mit 5,3 % Alkohol. Durch eine großzügigie Kalthopfung mit drei amerikanischen Aromahopfen transportiert es eine einzigartige Fruchtigkeit, die unter anderem an Grapefruit, Thymian und Pinie erinnert.

Bottle, 5.3%. Fruity hop aroma. Dust, paper and soap in the nose as well. Cloudy pale yellow colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is fruity and sweetish with a mild bitterness and citrus fruit finish. OK body.

Tap at Kompaan. Murky dark golden with white head. Very fruity, sweet grains, light roasted, passion fruit/ sweet ripened grapes, melon, kiwi. Light sweet, light bitter. Caña en el señor Lupulo Gijón 20..02..2016. (r115). Color amarillento tostado turbio con espuma Blanca. Aromás y sabores maltosos y cereales ligeramente cítricos algo dulces y bastante toscos o ásperos acabando con suave suave amargo final algo herbaceo. Corriente.

Bottle @ home. Almost clear yellow color, full sized fairly quickly diminishing white head. Aroma is wheat, lightly dusty, lightly grains. Taste wheat, lightly a touch of grassy hops, some yeast. Decent body and carbonation.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Alexey’s place. Thanks Vova. Cloudy yellow. Aroma of fruity hops, slightly stale, yeast, and some esters. Flavor has some yeast, fruity esters, light tartness, and mild hoppy bitterness. Light to medium-bodied. Decent.
