We brew Koper (meaning copper) with rye. And with the German Perle hop - which brings out the peppery character of the rye. The combination of rye, full caramel and a balanced base of hops make Copper a beer to enjoy. A fruity aroma and a bitter base make this beer surprisingly drinkable and full of flavor at the same time.

Aroma of bready malts, rye, fruity notes, hops, spicy notes. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a medium bitter finish. Lovely Rye Pale Ale.

Tap at Haarlem Speciaalbierfestival ’15: Slightly hazy amber colored brew with an nicely sweet bitter taste, hints of caramel and some hidden pepper.

Bottel. Amber color. Soft Maltaroma with a hint of caramel. Malty sweetish caramelly flavor with a hint of roast. Medium to full bodied. Soft herbal notes. Pleasant.

Fles thuis geprobeerd. Het is een troebel oranjebruin bier met een medium schuimkraag, Het heeft een moutige wat hopachtige geur. De smaak is moutige en roggeachtig, licht zoet in de afdronk.

Copper colour with light haze. Aroma is complex with some caramelised fruits and pear drops. Full bodied and rather hoppy and bitter. Pear drops come again in the aftertaste.

Hazy medium amber colour, good frothy off-white head, half-way lasting, good lacing. Aroma toasted malts, grain, red fruit, caramel, floral hops, herbal notes. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, grainy, fruity, toffee. Sweetbitter aftertaste, malty, grainy, husky, herbal notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, well-balanced and tasty, quite good.

Bottle from AH. Copper coloured. Grainy, caramel, rye, bit of citric hops. Soft, medium bitterness, medium carbonation.
