330ml bottle [#0849/1634, 12.1%]. Jet black colour with minimally late awakening, small, creamy, diminishing, minimally lacing, tan head. BA supported, roasty, dark and caramel malty aroma, notes of dark caramel, burnt caramel, Bourbon, some vanilla, whiffs of smoke and peat, some leather, rye spiciness, a touch of molasses. Taste is roasty dark malty, sweet-ish, caramel malty, minimally woody and slightly alcoholic, notes of dark caramel, hints of burnt caramel, some oak with a tannic touch, additional BA hints of Bourbon, vanilla, butterscotch; slightly warming, alcoholic finish. Oily to viscous texture, smooth, soft and slightly cloying palate, fine, soft carbonation. Rich and intense, well controlled sweetness, balanced BA support - felicitous.

Bottle, 330 ml courtesy of JFK10000. Shared with him, Miro B and Simon. Pours black with tan head. Some roastiness, malty, chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, some whiskey, sweetish, low carbonation. Surprisingly thick and creamy, nice texture. Full bodied.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass deep black, small head. Intense malty-soapy aroma. Starts heavy malty, some soapy notes, more and more stouty, earthy, woody. Finish well balanced, intense malty finish. Nice one!

Tasting @ Koelschtrinker's place. Malty nose with lots of bourbon in the nose. The beer starts malty with a nice woody back. Not as balanced as it could be, the wood and whiskey is there, but the beer in total is a bit unround with a sharp ending and not a real connection between the malty dry and intense body and the woody whiskey barrel.

0,33 l bottle Nr. 0121 from their Lagerverkauf on fridays. Pours out jet black, smallest short living darkest beige head. Intensive choco-vanilla-whiskey smell. Taste has a mix of barrelwood, vanilla, whiskey. Also some fruity elements with a malty backbone. Increasing alcoholic bitterness. Warming as expected. Strong stuff.

0.33 l bottle from 'Craftbeer-Shop.com', best before December 2020. Pitch black with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of dark chocolate, praline, coffee, vanilla, hazelnut and some bourbon. Gently sweet, malty, quite roasty taste of dark chocolate, praline, hard roasted coffee, licorice, bourbon, vanilla and some nuts, followed by a long, rather roasty-bitter, earthy finish. Medium to full body, creamy to oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Really good, superbly balanced, no alcohol whatsoever noticeable, and still fairly intense. Oli does it again!
