330ml bottle [#387/700]. Opaque, darkest brown colour, no head - some tiny bubbles arise late and reform a tan, creamy crown. Bourbon infused, chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of caramel, dark caramel, dark chocolate, hints of toffee, whiffs of cinnamon. Taste is slightly dry, woody, alcoholic and sweet-ish, caramel malty, notes of dark caramel, some treacle, toffee, burnt caramel, Bourbon. Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft, slightly cloying palate, quite boozy, slightly warming and minimally burning finish.

0,33 l bottle No. 174, purchased from the fridays Lagerverkauf at the brewery months ago. Pours pout black, no head, no carbonation. As expected. Smooth fruity choco, some Filzstift (don´t know the word in english). Taste starts also totally smooth. Dark berry fruity, some sweet choco. Shy hop way behind in the background. Low but present whiskey barrel in the aftertaste. Dangerous drinkability. Really nice! Should have bought more bottles for the next years ´til my retirement ..

0.33 l bottle from 'Brewcomer', bottle no. 182, best before May 2020. Pitch black with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and quite some bourbon. Quite sweet, malty, gently roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, lots of bourbon, some vanilla and hints of oak, followed by a long, gently roasty-bitter, slightly earthy and moderately boozy finish. Medium to full body, creamy to oily mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Delicious beer, the bourbon is quite strong but it fits in really well, nice winter warmer!
