Bottle at home. Pours copper with beige head. Nose is grains, caramel, some fruits. In taste it shows grains, caramel, some roasted and earthy character. Finishes with roasted notes and some sweetness, has light to medium body and average carbo. Good buy for the price.

Bottle from the Lidl. Been fearing this one to the extent it’s a year expired. Brown with a frothy, beige head. Brown sugar aroma with a slight graininess. Taste is mildly sweet with lingering caramel malt and a touch of booze. Medium-bodied, mild carbonation. Simple but not as rough as I‘d expected. Worked well as a marinade.

500ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, chestnut colour with ruby shimmer and average to huge, firm, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Sweet-ish, dark malty aroma, notes of malt lozenge, a touch of milk chocolate. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally toasty, dark malty, notes of malt lozenge, hints of milk chocolate, bitter hoppy overtones. Watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally dry palate, slightly prickly, foamy carbonation. Simple, balanced - decent.

0,5 l bottle from a Lidl haul a few weeks ago. A darkest clear red brown in the glass with a more than one finger frothy beige head. Looks good. Smells malty, little bit metallic. Taste starts intensive malty, some choco and fruity. Increasing dry alcoholic bitterness in the middle section. Little bit rough. Dark caramel in the aftertaste. Again a better-than-expected Lidl beer.

Geringe Karbonisierung. Malzig bitterer Beginn, wenig Kaffee. Die Bitterkeit bleibt prägend, mild hopfig, etwas dumpfer Hintergrund. Malzig wässriger, deutlich bitterer Nachhall. 9/10/9/9/10/9

Bottle. Clear dark brown with a nice beige head. Aroma of roasted malts and caramel. Taste: roasted malts, some coffee, a little bit of dark fruits and caramel. Bitter roastiness. Medium carbonation. Alcohol is present. Ok - even more so if you consider the price.

# 1670; 12/2019. Caramel and slightly fruits in aroma. Brown body with long lasting thin beige head. Fruity, roasted malt, chocolate, light alcohol warm. Quite good for Lidl beer, but nothing special. 0,5 l bottle, market (Lidl), Třemošná (CZ).
