Sampled @ Van Moll Fest 2018. Dark brown color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, dark malts, lightly liquorice and notes of honey, nicely bitter. Smooth mouthfeel. Didn't expect that from this beer. Very nice! 8-4-8-4-17.

Sampled from tap at Van Moll Fest 2018. Murky, dark brown to black with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of honey, caramel, some chocolate and a touch of licorice. Quite sweet, malty, gently roasty taste of honey, milk chocolate, some licorice and a touch of coffee, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly roasty finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite nice, the honey is a bit too dominant for me.

Tap @ Van Moll Fest 2018. Black with a small offwhite head. Smells honey, wine, roasty, sweet. Tastes tannines, cherry peel, honey, roasty. Medium body, soft carbo.
