330ml bottle. Opalescent, yellow-ish golden colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, snow white head. Rather weak, slightly grainy, pale malty aroma, grassy hoppy overtones, a touch of spelt, whiffs of sorrel. Taste is moderately bitter, grassy and minimally citrusy hoppy, minimally biscuity, pale malty basis, hints of lemon, a touch of sorrel, some mineral aspects, very light, additional hints of quince, protein and brioche; decent, bitter hoppy finish. Watery texture, dry palate, medium to fine, prickly carbonation. Cautious aroma, pretty good taste, nice subtleties - clearly above average.

On tap (@Kurhaus Bad Hamm, served as Dackel PILS): Almost clear, creamy and lacyy off-white head, deep golden; dryish bitter-sweet grainy-toasty nose with a mild, but distinctive herbal hoppy background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied, not soft; even drier herbal and toaty finish. O.K. ...

Trocken herber, schnell bitter werdender Antrunk. Bitter-süffiger Mittelteil bei mildem Hopfen, erhöhte Karbonisierung, wie das Obergärige nur bitterer und trockener. Mittellanger Nachhall. Okay. 8/9/7/9//9

0.3 l on tap at 'Mole'. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, moderately grassy-spicy and slightly fruity aroma of grains, fresh grass and light citrus. Quite sweet, malty, slightly grassy-spicy taste of grains, fresh grass, some citrus and traces of honey, followed by a short, medium bitter, rather grassy-spicy and quite dry finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Nice, refreshing Pils!
