Bottle. Golden body with a huge, pillowy off-white head. Aroma of pepper, spice, plastic, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety/thick texture, lively carbonation. Overly spiced and overly sweet in the finish. Top it off with unfinished malts. Worse is the price (unfortunately, it was not priced on the shelf and I forgot to ask at the counter). $18 a bomber for a bad saison and a mediocre beer. Goodbye 18th Street.
