Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque orangey brown with a dense, creamy and lacing, beige head. Intense aroma of yeast, overripe fruit and alcohol. Solid body, but not overly rich. Malt, banana and overripe fruit with a yeasty edge. Super smooth mouthfeel. Hardly any bitterness. Quite lovely really. 011225

Mächtige, stabile Schaumkrone; bernsteinfarbene bis haselnussbraune Farbe. Malzbetont, bananig-fruchtig, leicht nussig und würzig, cremig-weich im Mund, nicht allzu kräftiger Körper, leichte Süße. insgesamt ein sehr solider Weizenbock

Flasche 0,33l (Kalea Bier-Adventskalender): Kastanienbraun, rotstichig, deutliche Trübung, kräftiger stabiler mittelporiger Schaum; fruchtige + kräftig malzige Nase, malzige Süße, Zitrusnoten, eher trockene Hopfenaromen, leichte fruchtige Säure, kräftig Malz, Weizen, etwas Karamell, kräftige Hefearomen, fruchtig-malzige Bitterkeit; frischer + fruchtiger Körper, Zitrusnoten, leichte fruchtige Säure, frische Hopfenaromen, florale Noten, kräftig Malz, Weizen, cremig, kräftige Kohlensäure, kräftige Hefearomen; fruchtig-würziger Nachgang

Dunkler Weizenbock mit 16,5 % Stammwürze und 7,0 % Alkohol. Cremiger, fester Schaum. Man riecht Getreide, Frucht und Alkohol und noch mehr davon bekommt man geschmacklich. Dunkelmalz eher dezent. Ein Hauch von Schokolade. Fruchtige Noten sind mehr bestimmend. Weich, trotz richtiger Substanz noch süffig. Gut, auch wenn der Alkohol etwas zu dominant ist.

Kalea Bier-Adventkalender 21.12.2021 (Hofer-Version) Weihnachten nähert sich und da darf es schon ein stärkeres Bierchen sein. Ein Weizenbock, der sehr an einen Bock erinnert, aber sonst wenig von einem Weizenbier hat. Das kennst man normalerweise ungekehrt, was auch gut ist. Denn bei diesem Bier hat man zwar tolle fruchtige, fast schon beerige Aromen mit ordentlich alkoholischen Touch -aber die bananig-hefig-fruchtige Seite kommt fast gar nicht durch. Es hat ein paar nette Seiten, aber verglichen mit anderen Weizenböcken ist es eher schrottig.

500ml Bottle - Amber with a foamy head. Banana, nuts and sultanas in the aroma. Sultanas, walnuts, brown sugar and banana all feature in the taste. A decent weizenbock but lacking the character to be great.

500ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, strawy and plain bitter hoppy aroma. Taste is minimally sweet grainy, strawy and bitter hoppy, hints of cereals, corn flakes, a phenolic touch of apple and banana. OK.

(bottle) Hazy, dark amber colour with a thick and slightly tanned foamy head. Yeasty, cara-malty and mildly wheaty aroma with notes of banana and ripe stonefruits. Moderately sweet and delicately sour flavour, medium bodied with a prickly carbonation. Slightly mineralic malty and mildly wheaty start with notes of cereals, traces of caramel and a moderate fruit character; quite rounded sweet and delicately sour fruity finish with a late arriving touch of bitterness. 0.5 l bottle from 'Biermuda', best before September 2018. Slow gusher! Hazy, dark amber with a medium large, dense, stable, off-white head. Sweetish, moderately yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity aroma of pear, honeydew, some banana and a touch of clove. Moderately sweet, malty, quite yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity taste of clove, gingerbread, overripe banana, pear and a touch of nuts, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, a little tart and rather yeasty-spicy finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Pleasant Weizenbock, not overly intense or complex but pretty well-balanced and enjoyable.

Euro-Flascherl: Deep golden to light amber coloured, hazy, small - but still quite stable - creamy off-white head, sweetish-sourish fruity-caramelly nose, dominated by yeasty-wheaty aromas; moderate sweet-sourish flavour with a certain bitterness, medium bodied, creamy MF; slightly lingering sweetish-sourish wheaty-fruity finish with an increasing bitterness towards the aftertaste.
