Fles gedeeld met LiekevdV bij het proeflokaal de Boom. Het is een lekkere Ipa, amberbruin met een medium schuimkraag. Het heeft een lekkere hoppige en fruitige smaak.

Bottle at de Boom Alkmaar, 33 cl sample. Hazy golden color, medium frothy head. Aroma has some fruity lemon and citrus, bit sweet caramel, slight dusty yeast notes. Bit sweetness in taste and some chewy caramel, soft bitterness. The sweetness and slight yeasty notes are a bit too prominent and the beer lacks the refreshing IPA characteristic. Mediocre.

Bottle [thanks to my brother Tyn for bringing this] @ home. Unclear reddish color, medium sized off-white head. Aroma is quite lovely: malts, lots of hops, fruit hops. Taste malts, grapefruit, tropical fruit, hops, hop bitter, bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Very well done! A nice surprise by this young new brewery.

Retronasal it’s bitterish, resinous, rahter harsh. Flavor is moderate bitter, but rather mild, a bit herbal hoppy. Medium bodied. Finishes with light caramel malt, quite dry, moderate to full bitter. Not bad.
