This coffee porter is brewed with chocolate and dark chocolate malts to give a robust backbone for the lactose (milk sugar) to build on and is finished with Mazarro’s coffee to create a beer with a silky mouthfeel, rich flavor, and the satisfying taste of coffee. 4.9% ABV

Burk från glasbanken. Brun med ett kortlivat skum. Doftar kaffe och choklad. Lite som julmust, men med lägre sötma.

Can picked up from Total wines Tampa. A reddish nut brown coloured pour with a fine khaki head. Aroma is nutty earthy roast, coffee grounds, ash, some green pepper, hint of vanilla. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded, creamy nutty, toasted nuts, creamy vanilla,. mellow earthy roast, mellow coffee bean. Palate is semi sweet, oily, mellow carbonation. Decent.

On tap as part of a flight at Brew Hub, St. Louis. It's a hazy dark brown (maple syrup) with no sparkle, ring of off-white head and light lacing. Aroma is bittersweet coffee and roasted malts. Taste follows aroma with hint of lactose. Mouthfeel is light bodied with thin, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, a little less rich than I was expecting and thin, especially given the lactose. Disappointing.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a thinnish, relatively fast-dying tan and light brown coloured body. Aroma of brewed coffee, earth, nuts, light caster sugar and a ton of creamy notes with some lactose and pure double cream noticeable at the end, but the earthy and rustic qualites are noticeable in the nose. Light to Medium-bodied; Very creamy and super sweet profile at first with a big hit of both lactose and pure caster sugar, all evident early on and throughout with some light toffee and caramelised sugars and then some rustic earthiness at the end. Aftertaste shows a lot of earthiness with nutty, sweet and especially lactosey notes that give a lot of character, but do show just like a light coffee with some cream and sugar along with the earthiness of the roasted matls. Overall, this is a very nice, relatively elegant, straight-forward and very intentional, pure tasting beer with coffee, malts, lactose, caster sugar and a lot of creamy and vanilla elements that are really noticeable at the end, but this really does taste like some coffee with cream and sugar. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Knightly Spirits in Orlando (Orange Blossom Trail), Florida on 30-December-2020 for US$2,37 sampled at my house here in Washington on 11-February-2021 a day before leaving back to Orlando.

Can. Pours a clear deep amber brown with a light earthy brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a combination of lactose, chocolate and a light coffee note. Flavor has lactose and creamy coffee with some sweet dark grains and light chocolate supporting.
