Pours a deep reddish brown color with a finger of light tan head with some spotted lacing. Aroma is caramel and maltyness with a sweet finish

Clear medium amber colour, good frothy off-white head, good retention and lacing. Aroma light toasted malt, caramel. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, light toasted, caramel, grainy notes. Thin sweetbitter aftertaste; medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, mediocre alt.

Sampled from 0.5 l bottle from local ’Netto’, best before September 2017. Clear, dark brownish red with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Faint, sweetish, slightly grainy aroma of caramel, grains, some cardboard and slight hints of vegetables. Sweetish, grainy and a bit grassy-spicy taste of caramel, grains, some straw and a bit of cardboard, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy-spicy and quite metallic finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Drinkable, but rather bland and with some flaws.

Klare rötlichbraune Farbe, fingerbreite stabile Schaumkrone. Geruch dezent karamellig, röstmalzig, würzig hopfig. Geschmack karamellig, dezent süß röstmalzig, im Abgang sehr hopfig, leicht metallische Bitterkeit, gut!

Bottle:Clear, dark-amber coloured, mid-sized off-white stable creamy and lacy head; really faint traces of toasted malt in the metallic and cardboardy nose; mild sweetish-bitter flavour, light bodied as expected; almost lingering bitter-caramelly finish. Not great, but still worth a sip…
