(bottle) Hazy, amber to copper colour with a beige medium-sized foamy head. Bready toast-malty aroma with loads of caramel with a whiff of fruity hints underneath, backed by herbal-spicy hops. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Caramel-laden taste with a hearty toasted malty base, almost like a diluted Bock, accompanied by subtle fruity flavours and mildly hoppy spice; lingering toast-malty and slightly herbal hoppy finish with present notes of caramel. Good one. 24.II.17

Frischer malzig herber Antrunk, mild karamellig, kein Hopfen. Zunehmend getreidig, dabei bleibt das Karamellmalz konstant. Rund, süffig. Nett! 8/9/8/8/8/8

0.5 l bottle from ’Biermuda’, best before March 2017. Clear, dark red with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of caramel and red fruits. Rather sweet, malty, almost sugary, slightly fruity taste of caramel, lots of red fruits and a touch of molasses, followed by a short, slightly bitter, minimally grassy finish. Medium to full body, oily, almost syrupy mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Rather unusual Märzen, tastes more like a Bock, but I like it!

Bottle: Copper coloured, unclear, visible carbonation, medium-sized stable and creamy off-white head; distinctive toasty-fruity (dried fruits) nose with bready and nutty traces, hops in the background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, almost medium bodied, pretty smooth; lingering and slightly drier bitter-sweet malty and bready finish.
