0.33 l bottle from ’Dilo’, best before November 2016. Clear, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, a bit sourish-funky, moderately fruity and maybe minimally smoky aroma of caramel, honey, oak, barnyard, orange jam and peach. Sweetish-malty, slightly funky and a bit sourish, moderately fruity taste of caramel, honey, some barnyard, orange jam and peach, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, slightly tart, woody and vinous finish. Medium body, slightly oily, a bit effervescent and minimally astringent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very unusual, quite complex and satisfying as well as refreshing at the same time. I doubt that the brett-notes are intended though, at least if I read the other ratings and consider the promised style as well as the reputation of the brewer.

Tap at Festival der Bierkluturen. Slightly cloudy, reddish golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Fruity yeasty aroma, mild spiciness, hints of banana, mandarine, cherry. Taste is slightly sweet, fruity, slightly spicy, hints of banana, mandarine, cherry; relatively light body. Unusual fruitiness for a Bock - can’t find the honey.

Getreidig hopfiger Antrunk. Minimal säuerlich etwas herb süffig. Ab dem Mittelteil schwächer, rund, könnte intensiver sein. 10/11/9/9//9

On tap at Heidenpeters, Kreuzberg. Nice glowing amber colour with an off-white head. Malty aroma with notes of honey, some fruits and hints of smoke and spices. Rather sweet and malty with moderate flavour intensity and a light bitterness. Fairly tasty and interesting, but not quite my cup of tea.
