33cl Bottle best before 10.11.2016. The beer starts malty and smooth. Sweetish malty parts, round and refreshing. Dry with floral hints, nice bittered malty roasted back. Round and smooth and still great to drink.

Pours reddish brown from the bottle. The head is foamy and extremely large. Aroma is caramel and apple. Taste is overall driven by the malt base with a steady sweet caramel overtone dominating. Underneath it is a tart apple sourness that becomes more pronounced during the finish. Body is light to medium. Good.

0.33 l bottle from ’Bierpost.com’, bottle #1334, best before November 2016. Slightly hazy, deep red with a large, frothy, stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, quite fruity and a little sourish aroma of caramel, red fruits and leaves. Sweetish-malty, quite fruity and minimally sourish taste of caramel, red fruits, brown sugar, leaves and hints of oak, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, quite dry and a bit vinous finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Quite nice, feels a bit unfinished though.

10/7/8/9/13/9

330ml bottle [#1381/1800, as "Altbier Bock">. Cloudy, dark brown colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting and lacing, off-white head. Fresh, grassy hoppy aroma, toasty malty background. Taste is bitter, toasty malty, grassy hoppy, hints of chlorophyll, a subtle, nuttily malty touch gains more weight close to the finish, hoppy overtones with a touch of mandarine zest..
